Our BHS Boys Tennis players played great against all the other 13 schools in our conference / New Castle County.
1st Singles : Chase Savage won 1st Place (best player in the Blue Hen Conference)
2nd Singles : Sachchit Shankar won 2nd Place (retired due to injury, could've won)
3rd Singles : Hobie Pressley won 2nd Place (really hard fought 3 set match, ugh!)
2nd Doubles : Kenjiro Ogura & Julian Compton won 2nd Place (great effort!)
Congratulations to all these young men and the efforts they put in during the tournament!

Student Athlete of the Month for September
 |
 |
Kayla Murpy:
Kayla is a fantastic leader on & off of the court. She's constantly encouraging her teammates and always working to be the best player/teammate that she can possibly be.
|
Dominic Antonelli:
Dom has been a true example of a student-athlete this month. Dom is the captain of the football team and has shown outstanding leadership. He has been committed to learning the game of football and becoming a model for success to the younger players. When needed, Dom is a coach and teacher to the underclassmen. On the field, he has been the lineman of the week 2 times and was the defensive player of the game in our thrilling win vs Concord. In school, Dom maintains honor roll status and is the president of JDG 12. He is currently leading the class in an effort to organize a food drive. Dom’s commitment to team principles and understanding of the term student-athlete makes him the perfect candidate for Student-Athlete of the Month |
